José has over 20 years of experience in business management, both in large multinational companies and in SMEs, in the real estate and infrastructure consulting and engineering services sector (Project management, facility management, risk management, sustainability and energy efficiency), in the areas of general management, strategy, finance, operations, sales & marketing and technical. He has led high-performance teams of over 600 qualified professionals providing services to leading Spanish and multinational companies in the real estate, retail, infrastructure, industrial, services and public administration sectors, and coordinating international projects including Portugal, France, Brazil, Mexico, Panama and China. He has also been a strategic consultant working for international clients of private equity and strategic consulting, and he is a founding partner at Tartessos Ventures, an investment vehicle specialized in seed capital for innovative startups.
José holds a MSc in Civil engineering (Ingeniero de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) by the University of Granada, an MBA by the IDE and a PADE (Senior Management Program) by IESE Business School. He is also a WELL AP.

He has been a member of the Management Committee of the Spanish Association of Energy Efficiency (A3e) and he is currently his Territorial Delegate for the Spanish Center Region. He is a regular trainer in postgraduate courses, and a key speaker in conferences in the Green building and energy efficiency fields.
