Ineria Management has been chosen by Barings to carry out the comprehensive consulting for the BREEAM Es In Use sustainability certification and for the WELL Core health and wellness certification of the office building in Las Rozas, owned by Barings.
The emblematic building, located on Severo Ochoa street in Las Rozas (Madrid), has been the headquarters of the ING bank in Spain for years. With a surface area of about 22,000 m2, it was designed by the architect Julio Cano Lasso in 1992.
The services entrusted to Ineria for both certifications include pre assessment, consultancy in the project and execution phases, WELL pretests, management of the certification with the IWBI (International Well Building Institute), assistance in the implementation of improvements, audit and BREEAM certification report.
WELL® Building Standard is a performance-based system to measure and certify the characteristics of the built environment that impact human health and well-being, through air, water, nourishment, light, movement, thermal confort, sound, materials, mind and community. It unites best practices in design and construction with evidence-based scientific and medical research (the built environment is used as a vehicle to support human health and well-being).
BREEAM® (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) is a leading building sustainability assessment and certification method with more than 20 years in the market and more than 575,000 certified buildings in 85 countries. It favors a more sustainable construction that translates into greater profitability for those who construct, operate and / or maintain the building; reducing its impact on the environment; and greater comfort and health for those who live, work or use the building.
