The real estate industry, impacted by new consumption habits, demographic and social changes and a greater awareness of the need to take care of the planet, is going through a new era in which sustainability is key. And not only in relation to the construction of new buildings, but also to existing buildings. Convinced that sustainability certifications increase the value of properties, owners and managers have opted for them to give value to assets and attract the best organizations as tenants.
Ineria Management has advised to date the certification of more than 1.8 Million m2 in tertiary assets in operation (including retail, offices, hotels and logistics), either with the BREEAM In Use certificate or with the LEED EBOM.
Likewise, we have also advised the certification of more than 80 new construction projects, totaling more than 900,000 m2 of tertiary and residential buildings.
BREEAM® (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) is a leading building sustainability assessment and certification method with more than 20 years in the market and more than 575,000 certified buildings in 85 countries. It favors a more sustainable construction that translates into greater profitability for those who build, operate and / or maintain the building; reducing its impact on the environment; and greater comfort and health for those who live, work or use the building.
LEED® (Leadership in energy efficiency and sustainable design) is an international system of sustainability and high efficiency in buildings with high recognition and implementation. Developed by the US Green Building Council (USGBC), it is characterized by providing an evaluation of the sustainability of the building according to 6 main categories: Location and transportation, sustainable location, efficient use of water, energy and atmosphere, use of materials and resources and quality of the interior environment, adding to these the categories of innovation and regional priority.
